RE: Lap-Band Procedure - Decide To Do It

Chuck. When you are at work, look at all the goodies and think of all the pain you will be in if you eat any. Have you had a sliming or stuck episode yet? It is a great deterent. Keep your eye on the ball friend. You can do it. bette

RE: Lap-Band Procedure - Decide To Do It

Congrats friend. You are doing great!!!! It is so hard to do holidays when you have so many years of "habit foods and tradition foods" to try to deal with. If you got thru the first one (Thanksgiving), you are well on your way. Peace be with you bette

RE: Stray at 7 Feathers Casino, OR

Oh Chris. You should take the kitty with you. They are easy to travel with. You know lots of us that have one or two cats or dogs. You need something that will cuddle up with you and show you her love with the loud purring. come on guy. Give it a chance. Bette

RE: stove won't light

thanks all. I have had the tank filled lots of times but no one has ever closed anything that I know of. They may have opened it after filling it without me knowing. I will have my son check it. thanks Bette

stove won't light

Hi. I have a 97 Rexhall 31' motorhome. I am starting to get her set for a Christmas run to Ca and can't get my stove to light. I filled the propane tank but it only took $10 so it wasn't near empty. I opened the 3 burners for a few minutes and they still won't light. I know I am not the smartest gal on the block but can anyone help me get the darn thing lighted. A trip to Camping World is beyong my budjet right now. Thanks Bette

RE: good for snacks

swebber: Me too. My mom and sister hate cheese and very seldom eat it. I can't cook if I run out of my supply. I was afraid that soft cheese like american would gum up like it does on a grater. Darn bette

RE: good for snacks

good for snacks

This is one of my favorite snacks. Great for those on low carb diets too. Line cookie sheet with alum foil. spray with pam. ( important ) Drop small amt of SHREDDED, not grated, parmesan cheese. spread cheese out very thinly. Bake at 350 for about 7-10 minutes. Watch carefully. Remove from foil and cool. these are very crispy. Enjoy bette

RE: Easy Chicken Parmesan ( And I mean EASY !)

Super_Dave. I have a kinda like recipe. I use it for chicken and for pork chops. Spread chicken or pork chops with a little bit of mayo. Sprinkle on liberal amt of parmesean cheese and bake. Make a wonderul crispy crust that is low cal and low carb. Even my picky, picky son loves it!! Bette
